Coromandel Peninsula’s Northern Tip

This northern tip of Coromandel is only accessible by gravel road. It is a quite remote and peaceful part of New Zealand. If you hunger for some time on your own or just want to relax than a visit to this northern tip is a nice idea.

Outdoor

Beaches

Fletcher Bay is the end of the road. Here you will find some excellent remote and quite Beaches. Of course there are more Beaches but the ones at the end of the road; at Coromandel its tip are beautiful.

Tramping

There are some nice walks in this area. The Coromandel Walkway is one of them. There is also a nice walk from Stony Bay up to the highest mountain in Coromandel: Mount Moehau (over 800 meter high).
