Martinborough
(population 1500)This town is a real wine town. In the area around Martinborough many vineyards can be found. It is a very nice place to visit; it is “the” tourist attraction of the southeastern tip of the northern island. The town is famous for its annual Toast Martinborough Wine, Food and Music Festival.
