Rock Climbing

New Zealand offers many nice places for rock climbing. Both the islands have some great places. Examples of good places on the southern island are: Port Hill near Christchurch and Arthur’s Pass Castle Hill (Canterbury). Some places on the northern island are: Mt Eden Quarry in Auckland and Lake Taupo (Waikato & Tongariro).
