Tax on Goods and Services

Goods and services tax (GST) in New Zealand is 12,5% (more information is available at this site: http://www.ird.govt.nz). This tax is applicable to all goods and services. Most displayed prices include the 12,5% GST. Products bought duty free (only possible when showing your flight ticket) are excluded of the GST.
